EMI / RFI / Impulse Noise
One of the mosts significant problems for digital audio systems is the degradation of sound by noise. EMI (Electromagnetic Interference), RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), and Impulse noise is the major source of this digital noise.
Waversa have spent considerable time researching this issue and have developed patented passive filter technology to reduce these forms of signal distortion.

EXT2 Standard
The Waversa EXT2 Isolators offer a 5x time improvement over the original EXT1 model by combining multiple patented passive elements of higher quality to greatly enhance the electromagnetic ‘immune’ effect.
Coupled to this is the high grade aluminium chassis CNC’d to exacting standard with modular chambers filled with a dampening material to further isolating the unit from harmful vibrational energy.

Waversa isolators prevent impulse noise generated within a connected system such as a DAC and Amplifier from being transmitted from one component to another.
Overshoot, Undershoot Measurement
Digital signals are essentially time domain dependent differentials of voltage signifying a value.
Voltage overshoot and undershoot within a digital signal circuit causes sound degradation.
By using Waversa’s patented Isolator technology, we are able to minimize these overshoot and undershoot values significantly greatly improving the integrity of the signal and therefore retaining the inherent resolution of the recording.
