SGE (Smart Gateway Enclosure) is an integrated edge platform for combining CCTV recording, on-device AI analysis, environmental sensing and system control in one hardware platform. It connects cameras, sensors and communication devices with the recording, analysis and alerts required at the site.
Connect video, sensors and site equipment
- Video: combine CCTV recording with WNDR-based video delivery and on-device AI analysis.
- Sensors: collect environmental measurements and equipment status for monitoring.
- Integration: connect analysis results and sensor events to monitoring displays, alerts and actions on connected site equipment.
Configure AI functions for the application, such as licence plate recognition, object detection and abnormal-behaviour analysis. Available functions and integrations depend on the selected hardware, models, sensors and control equipment.
A modular configuration for the required functions
Combine controller boards, I/O boards and storage expansion for the installation. Modular options include main and secondary controllers for redundancy, SATA and M.2 storage expansion, and partner-developed boards. The platform supports Linux- or Android-based configurations and SDK-assisted integration development.
Applications
- Smart poles: connect CCTV, emergency call buttons, environmental sensors and street-light controls.
- Smart parking: connect parking monitoring, licence plate recognition, payment kiosks and occupancy signs.
- Safety and environmental monitoring: use water-level or fire-detection sensors to monitor site conditions and trigger event notifications.
- Smart farms, factories and buildings: configure sensor collection, video monitoring and equipment integration to suit the site.

Plan the deployment around the site
Identify the required cameras, sensors, network and controlled equipment first, then define the board configuration and software integration. The deployment process covers requirements analysis, custom development, installation and operational support. Confirm video latency, analysis performance and fault-handling behaviour for the actual configuration and operating conditions.
