Ultra Miniature Isolator Installed
Waversa in pursuit of the ultimate digital source realized much distortion of the digital signal is
created through EMI, RFI and Impulse noise.
After much research Waversa produced an Isolator technology which is patent pending.
After producing in-line isolator device this technology has now been miniaturized and mounted directly onto our circuit board of the WCDT.
Unibody Hosing
All Waversa products are built with high quality aluminium chasses skillfully produced by an expensive CNC process.
Featuring individual segments for each module, the chassis protects the unit from external noise and also harmful vibration maximizing audio performance.
Multiple I/Os
WCDT features simultaneous AES/EBU, Coaxial, Optical output as well as a 2 word clock input to establish a stable clock domain.
However, for perfect sound implementation with other Waversa Devices, WNDR (Waversa Network Direct Render) streaming is also featured maximizing both the power of the WAP processor and full bandwidth on offer by this.
WAP (Waversa Audio Processor)
Digital audio sources are distorted through the quantization process and this distortion effects high-end audio sound quality.
Waversa’s proprietary WAP technology eliminates errors on digital audio sources and recovers the original audo wave form.
With the WAP Processor operating at 32 bits, Waversa products produce a more accurate representation of the music signal and when Waversa devices are connected through WNDR this effect is multiplied through each step of the signal path.
WAP/X (Waversa Audio Processor Extension)
Not only are digital audio sources distorted through the quantization process but the harmonic component is also greatly reduced.
WAP/X technology recovers harmonic components for the 2nd, 4th, 8th order. As the WAP processor operates at 32 bits, Waversa are able to extend the harmonic frequency range way into the ultrasonic region to produce vital information key to the ear for natural timbre and soundstaging which is greatly enhanced.
Power Supply
Featuring Waversa’s proprietary WLPS technology, a large transformer based linear power supply generates clean power.
Equally importantly is the modular CNC’d high quality aluminium chassis which protects the device from stray EMI and RFI energy as well as harmful vibration.
Supports 100 ~ 240 AC.
Ripping and Storage
WCDT features a 2.5inch SSD/HDD slot for storage for ripped audio.
Any new disc will be automatically ripped into the storage through a bit for bit perfect process from multiple reads. When playing back, this data is first transferred from the storage to RAM where it is then noiselessly accessed for the highest quality.
WRemote Support
WRemote App enables to play control of CD player and also support ripping music play.
